Celebrate at the gate
Together with 65,000 guests, our New Year’s Eve crew kicked off the new year at the Brandenburg Gate. As last year, the big party under the motto “Celebrate at the Gate” was hosted by Andrea Kiewel and Johannes B. Kerner. Musical highlights were provided by Ayliva, Roy Bianco & Die Abbrunzati Boys and Chris Norman, among others.
We provided the live sound system for the entire site and set construction on the main stage, including the stage risers for the artists. The sound system included 8 delay lines with a total of around 220 AiRays, ViRays and N-Rays as well as around 40 SCP-F and SC2 subwoofers. Of course, everything was again realised with our CODA Audio products. The signals were then sent to ZDF for live TV transmission.
The event reached around 3.5 million people on New Year’s Eve – live and on television.
