No, these aren’t terms we made up—they’re the names of actual gymnastics moves. The Yamawaki, for example, is a classic flight element: a backward somersault with a half twist into a hang position. At the International German Gymnastics Festival, which took place this year in Leipzig, spectators were treated to these and many other impressive moves.
We delivered full productions for the majority of venues at the five-day event. From small sports halls with just two speakers to the Red Bull Arena hosting around 50,000 guests—indoor and outdoor, across all sizes and event formats, everything was represented.
With 80,000 active participants and 750,000 visitors in total, the Gymnastics Festival was one of the largest competitive and recreational sports events of its kind.

At 21 venues, including the Red Bull Arena, all areas of event technology were in action.
15 trailers of equipment, 562 CODA Audio speakers of various sizes, 42 mixing consoles, and 927 lighting fixtures illustrate the impressive scale of this sporting event in numbers.
