SCIENCE CREATES SOLUTIONS
At HANNOVER MESSE 2026, Forschungszentrum Jülich showcased its key fields of innovation across dedicated zones for Future Computing, Energy and Research Infrastructure, alongside the interactive AI demonstrator CUPITER. Together, these exhibits highlighted how cutting-edge research translates into real-world applications for industry and society.
Our contribution to the Dialogue Area was as integrated as the communication concept itself.
As part of the overall technical production, we delivered a comprehensive range of services including set and custom build fabrication, rigging, lighting, audio and media technology, as well as the underlying server and network infrastructure required to support the experience.
A defining visual element was the use of 300 FRAMELED™ Pulse Video Stripes, seamlessly incorporated into the architectural design through bespoke construction solutions. The resulting LED landscape extended across both horizontal and vertical surfaces, creating a cohesive visual language throughout the entire exhibition space.
To achieve this, we developed a series of custom integration solutions in-house. The LED elements were embedded both technically and aesthetically into the Plexiglas-finished flooring, bespoke furniture and thematic exhibit islands, ensuring that technology became an integral part of the spatial design rather than a standalone feature.
The result was a highly connected exhibition environment where content, architecture and technology worked together to make complex research topics accessible, engaging and visually impactful.

Sustainability was built into the concept from the outset. The custom-built set elements were designed for continued use beyond the trade fair and will remain in operation at Forschungszentrum Jülich after the event.
At the technical core of the installation, the FRAMELED™ Pulse Video Stripes, a 4 × 2.5 metre Recience Luna LED wall, and the vertical and horizontal LED elements were centrally managed via a Disguise media server. Lighting throughout the space was delivered using ROXX Neo Mini fixtures, while six CODA Audio HOPS5 loudspeakers provided subtle and immersive background audio.
To support the complex overhead installation, our rigging team developed detailed load calculations in advance, enabling the safe execution of the project while making optimal use of the available roof load capacity.
The result was an exhibition environment that reflected the same level of precision, innovation and forward thinking found in the research itself.
