STEP 

Illness is not a lifestyle. From social isolation to care with respect. Seven days of obesity in a new light. Lilly Germany GmbH opened its interactive Obesity Experience at the masumi space in Berlin, breaking new ground in communicating the realities of those affected as an emotional, immersive experience.

As part of the technical project implementation based on the concept by fischerAppelt, we were able to convey this perspective transparently, highlight it, and give it an appropriate voice.

Among other elements, 50 m² of ROE Visual Vanish V8 semi-transparent LED walls were used, powered by Disguise media servers. The interactive control of content on the windows was carried out via touchscreen by visitors. A comprehensive audio experience throughout the installation was realized with CODA Audio Deutschland GmbH systems. Optimal speech intelligibility in the booths was ensured by parabolic speakers.

The main focus was on atmospheric lighting across all areas, using 150 luminaires. In the evening, the exterior became an inviting highlight with strong visual impact.
