With an impressive ceremonial event, 1. FC Union Berlin celebrated its 60th anniversary. Around the “Alte Försterei”, thousands of Union supporters came together to mark this milestone.
We delivered the technical implementation of the event – inside a temporary six‑mast tent measuring 85 x 60 meters, erected within the tight timeframe between two Bundesliga home matches. The central structural challenge: a 25‑meter span between the tent masts. Approximately 450 meters of truss systems as well as a 9‑meter truss circle were installed. More than 160 moving lights, LED pars, and floodlights were used, along with around 80 loudspeakers arranged in main, delay, and front-fill structures with redundant safety.
For video technology, we worked with several 30k and 20k projections, large-scale soft-edge projection on the tent walls, and additional projections onto the tent ceiling. Signals from five cameras were centrally processed and distributed.
A project with clear scheduling and precise execution – for a special evening in the club’s history.
