Since several weeks, a total of 17 shopping centers in Germany and Italy have been transformed into departure points for a virtual journey to the North Pole—taking visitors all the way to the doorstep of Santa Claus’s home.
Visitors enter a gondola space where eight 55-inch displays form the windows, presenting an immersive dreamlike ride through wintry fantasy landscapes. Upon arrival at the destination, the gondola doors open and Santa Claus personally welcomes travelers young and old.
Technology + implementation: Realized 17 times using our sustainable beMatrix system, complemented by custom-made elements from the AMBION workshop. The setup includes 8 × 55-inch screens with video-triggered base lighting and a compact sound system. All components are partially remote-operable and serviceable.
